There is an alarming shift happening on our watch in this nation. In 1952 President Truman established one day a year as a National Day of Prayer. In 1988, President Reagan designated the first Thursday in May as the National Day of Prayer.In June 2008, Presidential candidate Barack Obama declared the USA no longer a Christian nation. This year, President Obama, ‘ordered’ cancellation of the National Day of Prayer ceremony at the White House, so as not  to offend anyone. On September 25, 2009 from 4am until 7pm, a National Day of Prayer for Muslims was held on Capitol Hill, beside the White House. (This is the last day of the Muslim celebration of Ramadan)

WHAT A SHAME. yes they save money but there is so much experience and knowledge about the culture, language ,that they will loose in the switch. Very sad.
